Hotels in Tunica are not very expensive.  Obviously, a gambling hotel is going to give you more amnemities for a low price because they assume that you are making them money by losing in their casinos!  So, these are great places to stay if you're single or a couple.  If you have a family, you might not be as interested, and you'll probably look at the other hotels in Tunica instead.

Tunica was once a small agricultural town, but with the advent of gambling has really blown up since then.  It is a very popular tourist attraction, and it's a great place to stay even if you're not into gambling.  You have some great country environment not too far out from Tunica, and some really nice and affordable hotels in Tunica.  I'm interested in going to Tunica because of the hotels and not to gamble.  I'll probably do it as a vacation, and I'm sure there will be plenty of nice single women to find there.  Tunica is now considered to be the third largest gaming region in the United States, after Las Vegas and Atlantic City.  My brother has been to Tunica twice already, and he loves it.  He said that he'd rather go there instead of Las Vegas which is saying a lot.  He doesn't like how crowded Las Vegas can get, and I don't blame him too much.  I like the ability to enjoy a casino environment, and then go out and drive in the country.  It's awesome I think.
